Our Philosophy

Your anatomy leads.
The device follows.

“Lifting” can describe several different concerns: reduced skin firmness, a softer jawline, changes around the neck, or laxity on the body. The most appropriate approach depends on tissue depth, facial volume, skin thickness, previous procedures and whether a non-surgical treatment can realistically meet your goal.

01

Assess

Review skin quality, volume, laxity, asymmetry and relevant medical history.

02

Select

Choose radiofrequency, focused ultrasound, a staged plan or no procedure.

03

Calibrate

Plan treatment areas and settings according to anatomy and tolerance.

Begin With the Concern

Different concerns need
different depths.

01

Early Skin Laxity

Reduced firmness or elasticity may be discussed in relation to skin quality, thickness and age-related change.

02

Jawline Definition

A softer lower-face contour can reflect skin laxity, facial volume, muscle, bone structure or a combination.

03

Neck and Décolleté

Fine lines and laxity in thinner skin require careful assessment and conservative treatment planning.

04

Selected Body Areas

Suitability for body treatment depends on the area, tissue depth, degree of laxity and the device cartridge available.

Technology Comparison

Two energy types.
Two distinct roles.

Neither device is automatically “better.” The useful question is which energy type, treatment depth and plan are appropriate for the tissue being assessed.

Oligio monopolar radiofrequency device at FTV Clinic
01 · Monopolar Radiofrequency

Oligio

Oligio delivers monopolar radiofrequency energy as controlled heat within collagen-rich skin layers. It may be considered when the treatment goal includes skin firmness, elasticity or mild-to-moderate laxity.

Energy
Monopolar radiofrequency
Possible areas
Face, jawline, neck and selected body areas
Experience
Warmth or brief discomfort can occur; comfort varies by area and settings

Temporary redness, swelling or tenderness may occur. Treatment response and duration vary.

Ultraformer MPT focused ultrasound device information
02 · Focused Ultrasound

Ultraformer MPT

Ultraformer MPT uses micro- and macro-focused ultrasound. Different cartridges allow the clinician to plan selected treatment depths for facial or body applications according to the assessment.

Energy
Micro- and macro-focused ultrasound
Possible areas
Face, brow, jawline, neck and selected body areas
Experience
Heat, prickling or tenderness can occur; sensitivity varies by area

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, tingling or altered sensation may occur. Individual risk should be discussed before treatment.

Your Treatment Journey

A measured, practical
four-step process.

01

Assess

Review anatomy, skin quality, previous treatment, health history and priorities.

02

Map

Define suitable areas, treatment depth and zones that should be avoided.

03

Treat

Deliver the selected energy with settings adapted to the clinical assessment.

04

Review

Monitor recovery and reassess gradual changes before planning further treatment.

Choosing a Plan

One technology—or a
considered combination.

Oligio and Ultraformer MPT work through different energy types and may address different treatment depths. Some people may be offered one device; others may be considered for a combined or staged plan.

Combination treatment is not required for everyone and should not be assumed to produce a stronger result. Timing, order and suitability depend on anatomy, skin condition, comfort, treatment history and clinician judgement.

RF emphasis

Dermal Firmness

Radiofrequency may be selected when controlled dermal heating aligns with the treatment goal.

Ultrasound emphasis

Selected Depths

Focused ultrasound may be selected when a planned cartridge depth suits the assessed area.

Combined plan

Same Day or Staged

If both are appropriate, the clinician may discuss sequencing them together or at separate visits.

Realistic Expectations

Non-surgical lifting
has limits.

These treatments may support gradual improvements in firmness or contour for selected people, but they cannot reproduce a surgical facelift or stop ageing. No treatment can guarantee a particular degree of lift, symmetry, timing or duration.

People with more advanced laxity, significant volume change or a goal beyond what an energy-based treatment can reasonably achieve may need a different aesthetic or surgical consultation.

Frequently Asked

Non-surgical lifting
questions.

What is a non-surgical face lift?
It is a broad term for non-incisional treatments intended to support skin firmness or facial contour. At FTV Clinic, the available energy-based options include Oligio monopolar radiofrequency and Ultraformer MPT focused ultrasound. They do not produce the same change as facelift surgery.
What is the difference between Oligio and Ultraformer MPT?
Oligio uses monopolar radiofrequency to create controlled heat within collagen-rich skin layers. Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound and interchangeable cartridges for selected treatment depths. The appropriate choice depends on anatomy and the treatment goal.
Can Oligio and Ultraformer be combined?
They may be combined for selected people, but combination treatment is not automatically necessary or suitable. A clinician should determine whether to use one technology, both on the same day, or a staged approach.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Many people return to usual activities soon after treatment, but “zero downtime” cannot be promised. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, tingling or altered sensation may occur, and recovery varies by technology, area and settings.
When will I see a result, and how long will it last?
Some people notice early change while collagen remodelling can develop gradually. Timing and duration vary with age, anatomy, skin condition, lifestyle, treatment parameters and the natural ageing process. A fixed result timeline should not be guaranteed.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal schedule. The number and interval of treatments depend on the selected technology, treatment area, response, previous procedures and clinical assessment. Reassessment should guide any further treatment.
